Vincent Lamar Bowens, 31, is charged with malicious injury to property, discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle and unlawful carrying of a pistol.

According to arrest warrants, Bowens was a passenger in a car driving north on I-85 on Oct. 8.

The warrant said that Bowen was shooting at a vehicle following him.

One of the bullets hit an SUV that was traveling south on I-85. The gunshot shattered the rear window of the vehicle and caused more than $1,000 damage, the warrant said.
